Chris Frost appointed as AAH Sales Director

Nigel Swift, UK Marketing and Sales Director at Celesio UK, has announced the appointment of Chris Frost as Sales Director for AAH Pharmaceuticals. Chris, previously Market Development Director at Celesio UK, takes up his new post with immediate effect and reports into Nigel.

Chris’ new areas of responsibility include overseeing activity for third party clients and dispensing doctors, the UK Centre of Excellence for Tendering and AAH’s co-operation and franchise proposition, including its All About Health programme.

Nigel said, “Chris brings a wealth of experience to his new role and a passion for customer service. AAH reaches every dispensing point in the UK and Chris and his team will be offering them compelling reasons to want to do business with us”.

Chris said: “I am delighted to be appointed to this exciting role. My first aim is to strengthen AAH’s rightful position as number one in the UK pharmaceutical wholesale market.

“Alongside this I’m keen to build on the company’s already strong ‘customer first’ culture to ensure that we’re easy to do with business with – while providing the UK’s leading service levels and best value for money. We will offer our customers new and innovative professional, service and commercial partnerships in order to help them succeed. In particular, in 2014 we will be rolling out our new pharmacy concept to our independent customers providing them with a range of franchise opportunities to help grow their business.”

With a background in pharmacy, Chris has worked within Celesio UK for 22 years. He completed his pre-registration training at LloydsPharmacy in Nottingham, before working as a pharmacist and area manager for seven years.

Chris progressed to a range of senior positions within LloydsPharmacy, including Head of Pharmacy Services where he led investment of £3m in consultation areas and launched a successful diabetes screening service. In his most recent role as Market Development Director, Chris led Celesio UK’s proposition development for hospitals, primary care and public health alongside the launch of LloydsPharmacy’s European Pharmacy Network stores across the UK.
