AAH Pharmaceuticals Limited will now be distributing the Betterlife range of independent living products, giving customers the opportunity to sell more than 100 products.
The new development from AAH, comes in response to customer demand for Betterlife, which has seen strong and rapid growth over the past year. The first bricks and mortar Betterlife store opened in Leeds in August 2014 – and the second will open at the end of March 2015.
Betterlife is the ‘independent living’ offering from LloydsPharmacy, which enables people to better manage everyday tasks, from bathing, dressing, reading and writing to cooking and gardening.
Betterlife, which is part of Celesio UK, is now one of the fastest growing brands in the UK with sales via LloydsPharmacy stores increasing at 209 per cent year-on-year. AAH customers have the chance to see margins of up to 60 per cent should they choose to sell from the product portfolio.
Grant Abrahams, Head of Betterlife notes: “Betterlife improve the lives of patients by making everyday tasks easier and enabling those with mobility issue to live more independently. This partnership with AAH is good news as it means more people will be able to access, and benefit from, our successful and growing line of products.
“Products including mobility scooters, riser recline chairs and adjustable beds, can all be delivered and installed by the Betterlife team. Pharmacies interested in ordering from the Betterlife range will be provided with a variety of options, including the ability to host display units for catalogues and products, integrated one-wall bay options for smaller products and a walking stick stand, alongside in-store starter packs to help with POS and raise awareness in store.”
Chris Frost, Sales Director at AAH Pharmaceuticals Limited adds: “The Betterlife range provides an opportunity for pharmacists to add further value to their customers by offering products that improve their quality of live, as well as increase their footfall and OTC sales. This range comes with comprehensive training and support materials, to ensure that staff can effectively engage customers and recommend the right products for their needs.
“As a pharmacist, I understand the margin measures our customers face, so we are always identifying initiatives that can help pharmacy businesses. We provide an approach that helps to support our customers by putting their business and patient needs at our core and they can expect an efficient, trusted and first rate service.”
